Woodchuck Lodge

"I go to Nature to be soothed and healed, and to have my senses put in tune once more."

I love John Burroughs.  I even love the way he looked when he was an old man.  His boyhood home sits on Burroughs Memorial Rd in Roxbury.  It's needing restoration and Woodchuck Lodge, Inc, a non-profit group is doing just that. But they need help.  There's so much to do!
I finished this house portrait a few months ago and it is going to be shown at the Catskill Watershed Corp. office in Margaretville.  It's part of a group show.  The group's members are the ladies I paint with every Monday morning.  We're hoping to get this show hung up this Thursday, weather permitting.  Here's a link to their site for a lot of good information.  http://woodchucklodge.org/
After the show is over, this painting will be offered for sale by  Woodchuck Lodge Inc. for a fundraising event.  Diane Galusha would be the person to contact through their website.
